In this complementary duo of video art pieces, I use my own digitally-drawn frame-by-frame animations, illustrations and found footage to create dreamlike scenarios and imagery that reflects themes of nostalgia, growth, isolation, decay, and finding peace through the mental chaos. This work features an original song with vocals by myself and production by Stephen Marter— a new step in my artmaking process that I hope will create an all-encompassing audio and visual experience that captures this unique age of technology and art’s complete eclipse.
